Claudia Vitiello-Spirgath

Our managing director, Ms. Claudia Vitiello-Spirgath, comes from industry and has been able to gain extensive experience at large corporations such as BAYER AG or Siemens AG for more than two decades.

Since January 2023, together with Mr. Roland Plantikow, she took over the management of the AKUMA Academy for Environment and Management and represents the Berlin Office. Further to the usual management tasks, Ms. Vitiello-Spirgath also has administrative tasks in the company. In addition to organizing national events, her focus is on organizing international further education events. Her language skills in English, French and Italian are helpful to her. She is also personally available as contact person.

 

Dr. rer. nat Jeanette Holz

Dr. Holz is the head of national and international continuing education at the AKUMA Akademie für Umwelt und Management GmbH

She graduated from the University of Rostock with a Chemistry degree and then completed her doctorate in Ecological Chemistry. She has been employed at NORDUM since 1993, and in 1995 she took over responsibilities of conducting international research projects. She has been working on research and development for the Federal Environmental Agency (UBA), including the organization of measuring air and presenting research results at international work meetings. Her work also comprises project development, applying for and processing documentation with the UBA, the AIF, Inwent gGmbH, or the GTZ.

Dipl.-Wirt.-Inf.(FH) Roland Plantikow

Mr. Plantikow is managing director for the AKUMA Akademie für Umwelt und Management GmbH and has been a procuration officer for the NORDUM Akademie GmbH & Co.KG since 2012. After studying industrial engineering and economics at college (Fachhochschule Stralsund), he worked as a project manager for the NORDUM Institute für Umwelt und Analytik GmbH&Co.KG.  Here he was primarily responsible for measuring and evaluating environmental data and developing database applications.

Since then he has been developing and caring for our websites and the public faces of the NORDUM group.

Mr. Plantikow is responsible for the management of continuing education events, cost management, developing e-learning projects, and calculating cost and operating efficiency of regenerative energy projects.

Dear business partners and colleagues,

Regretfully I must inform you that the founder of NORDUM, Prof. Dr. rer. nat. habil. Jupp Kreutzmann, passed away on October 8, 2018. We have lost not only a trusted colleague and partner, but also a friend. He contributed to the successful development of NORDUM with his innovative ideas of science and technology and was widely known for both his enormous dedication and his warm, kind nature. Over many decades he passed on his extensive knowledge to thousands of people working on environmental issues, not only through NORDUM’s seminars but also through his work with young scholars at the university. 

We, his friends and colleagues, shall keep him in our best memories and will continue advancing his life’s work and goals.

Prof. Dr. habil. Jupp Kreutzmann

Prof. Kreutzmann was a managing director partner of the NORDUM GmbH & Co.KG. 

He graduated from the University of Rostock with a degree in Chemistry and continued to work as a professor of Ecochemistry. He has many years’ experience in teaching (lectures, seminars, technical talks) in areas such as ecological chemistry, environmental protection, environmental management, and technical chemistry.  Prof. Kreutzmann has supervised research projects, doctoral thesis work, and undergraduate work in the fields of environmental protection and analytics.

His work as scientific director includes reviewing and advising in the fields of waste and wastewater management, hazardous waste sites, environmental planning, environmental compatibility studies, and renewable energy.  Prof. Kreutzmann has also led the laboratory of the NORDUM-Institute and been intricately involved in the continuing education programs of the NORDUM Akademie.

Together with Dr. Holz, Prof. Kreutzmann has spent many years directing continuing education programs.
